Virginia Dare (18 August 1587 – 1588) is a colonial figure born in the Colony of Roanoke. She was the first child to be born in America of English parents – Dare is also Terry’s middle name – her maternal great grandmother’s name.

The Virginia Dare Room is located on the second floor of our Williamsburg Bed and Breakfast. It features an impressive four poster queen size bed with authentic colonial Williamsburg comforter, shams and dust ruffle. This large room has a cozy window seat and built in book shelves. The newly refinished hardwood floors don’t look 60 years old. You will be greeted by the morning sun (if you let it in!) The bathroom has 1940’s style black and white tile and a glass enclosed shower and pedestal sink. All rooms have cable TV with remote.

$145 per night – tax not included.
A third person can be accommodated in this room for an additional $20.
